2009 Miss Homecoming Announced

Miss Homecoming 2009, Carmenita Pharr, a nursing student at Bishop State Community College, was recently voted Miss Homecoming 2009 by the student body. The Mobile resident is a freshman and plans to further her study at Alabama State University in Montgomery upon graduation from Bishop State. Pharr is a member of Bishop State Gospel Choir, Math and Science Club and the College Choir. She is the daughter of Mary Ann Pharr of Mobile. First runner-up is Rayniceia Lewis of Mobile. Lewis is a freshman enrolled in business classes. Second runner-up is Jacqunita Jackson of Mobile. She is enrolled in the graphic communications program on the Southwest Campus. See photos below:
