Bishop State Community College Raises Money for the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Efforts

February 22, 2010 – Bishop State Community College raised $1,252.20 for the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Efforts. Accepting the contribution from Student Government Association President Ronnie McBride, Jr., is Bob Peter, third from left, Board Chairman of American Red Cross. Others in the photo are, from left, Crystal Gable, representing Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Sylvia Reese, representing Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE). Bishop State also is working to raise 1,000 cases of bottled water for Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society's "Water 4 Haiti" project.
