Bishop State Community College Choir

The Bishop State Community College Choir is comprised of students representing many disciplines within the college's program. Students who make up this choir have been inspired and encouraged to perform the best possible from the vast realm of standard choral literature.

The group has performed extensively throughout Alabama and the Southeast, visiting and presenting concerts at many of the colleges in the state. It has captured first place awards in the Alabama Community College System's Showcase and Competition. The choir has performed with Mobile Opera in its presentation of Aida, playing the role of the Ethiopian Chorus under the management of Pat Pearce and New York Opera Manager Ted Taylor.

The choir appears regularly before alumni, social, fraternal, and governmental groups within the city, state and region. While many hours of hard work go into the preparation of any performance, the students are always gratified when an audience is pleased with the quality of their work. Contact: ahall@bishop.edu.
