At Bishop State Community College, we are committed to the success of student-athletes in all phases of their college experience. Whether in the classroom, community or playing field, we thrive to create a winning atmosphere, attitude, and tradition. While we believe that winning is important, we also believe that the qualities of hard work, commitment, sportsmanship, character and integrity, are more important to the lives of our student-athletes.
We are proud to provide the necessary resources for academic, athletic and personal growth to all of our student-athletes. Our Athletic Department is committed to degree completion and ultimately, the graduation of each of our student-athletes. Consequently, we stress the importance and value thereof.
As members of the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC), we currently offer 6 sports programs: men’s and women’s basketball, fast-pitch softball, baseball, men’s and women’s golf. We comply with all rules, regulations, and procedures of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
