February 10th, 2014 Bishop State Community College General Education student Justin Wells of Mobile is among 75 students listed as a 2014 Historically Black College and University (HBCU) All-Star, a White House initiative. Only 75 students in the country were selected and only seven from the stat
e of Alabama. Wells, a sophomore, is a Bishop State EPECS (Engineering, Physics, Economics, and Computer Science) Scholar, a program designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the field of Homeland Security and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
