MOBILE, Ala. March 10, 2023 - Bishop State Community College is proud to play an active role in the lives of the youth in our community. One way we work to inspire and educate students is to host events on our campus that expose them to a local college in their community while learning and having fun. Our instructors got to do just that this week while hosting SECME.
SECME identifies science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) activities to improve student performance and outcomes in the form of competitions with a special emphasis on engineering design concepts. Today, students participated in the egg drop, Brain Bowl, poster, and mouse trap competitions.
