Summer Open House

Bishop State will host its Summer Open House this Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 10a - 2p t the Main Campus on Broad Street. The event, originally scheduled for June 19, had to be rescheduled due to Tropical Storm Claudette.

The Summer Open House is a family-friendly event that will be free and open to the public. It will provide fun hands-on demonstrations of all the college’s programs, free food and activities, plus five $500 scholarships will be given away to first-time students!

Bishop State welcomes the community to bring the entire family to this event that will be as interactive as it is educational. Guests will be able to see all of our programs on display, interact, ask questions, and just learn more about what Bishop State has to offer.

Bishop State is Mobile's community college and has four campuses serving Mobile and Washington Counties. The College's main focus is to provide access to affordable, quality education while promoting student success.

Bishop State offers university transfer programs for students wanting to continue their education at a four-year school as well as one and two-year career programs that allow students to enter the workforce quickly.

The College’s mission is to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully enter the workforce and thrive.
