MOBILE, Ala., (May 1, 2018) – Bishop State Community College’s women’s golf program will bring its inaugural regular season to a close by sending its only player to the national championship. Rev Lizabeth Alcantara, from the Philippines, will be the first individual athlete from Bishop State to compete at the national level. Rev, as she prefers, is a freshman focusing on general studies at Bishop State. She plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree while continuing to compete in golf at a four-year institution. Rev was recently inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society of two-year colleges, with a 4.0 GPA. Rev will compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Women’s Championship in Mesa, Arizona May 14-17, 2018. Below are the stats for Rev’s 2018 season.
