Bishop State Community College’s 2021 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021, and Friday, May 14, 2021, in the Fredericka G. Evans Cultural Centre Gymnasium. In an effort to continue social distancing and keeping everyone safe, the College will host four ceremonies at the following dates and times:
Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 1 p.m. & 5 p.m.
Friday, May 14, 2021 at 9 a.m. & 1 p.m.
As we continue to follow the advice of the CDC and Governor Kay Ivey, we are allowing
maximum space in the gymnasium for our graduates and their families. Each graduate will be allowed to invite two guests to attend the ceremony in person. Bishop State will live-stream the event. A link will be posted on the Bishop State Facebook page www.facebook.com/BishopState.
Following each graduation ceremony, students will be led to the Delchamps' atrium where backdrops will be set up for students to take photos and selfies with family, faculty, and friends.
