Bishop State Community College sophomores Gisele Zougmore of Mobile (shown left) and Jared Olson of Daphne (shown right) were among 50 students of the Alabama Community College System who were honored during the 2012 All-Alabama Academic Team Recognition Program in Montgomery, Ala., on April 5. Both Zougmore and Olson were recognized for their exceptional academic achievement, distinguished leadership, and community service. Students selected must possess a minimum GPA of 3.25, be involved in campus activities and have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours at the college they attend. Zougmore and Olson, General Education majors, have plans to further their education at a four-year college or university.
