Mobile, Ala., (April 12, 2018) -- Bishop State Community College will host an open house for potential students interested in learning more about the programs available at the Carver campus. The goal is to recruit students and assist them with getting the education and skillsets needed to begin or further their careers. All the school's programs, including barbering, welding, culinary, and auto body, will be represented at the open house. Students will experience an interactive campus tour and get a first-hand look at the programs that interest them. Department heads for each program will show students the equipment they will be using daily to enhance their skills. They will also be available to answer any questions students and parents may have. Team members from our Admissions and Financial Aid departments will be on hand to assist students. They can help with the admissions process, applying for financial aid, and informing families of various types of aid available. The Carver Campus Open House will take place Wednesday, April 18, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bishop State Carver Campus. It is located at 414 Stanton Road, Mobile, AL 36617. Please stop by and we will show you why Bishop State is a great place to start! For more information about our programs, check out our website.
