Congratulations to Rev Lizbeth Alcantara for winning the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Women’s Golf Championship!
Alcantara had a two-day total of 168. She was able to finish 1st despite having a 1 stroke penalty for an illegal drop which enforced a penalty for playing her ball from the wrong position.
Alcantara will now move on to play in the PGA Works Collegiate Championship tournament May 8-12 in Port St. Lucie, Florida where she will be the only athlete from a junior college to play. Following that tournament, she will play in the NJCAA Women's Championship May 13-17 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
